A university in Hainan is looking for three oral English teachers to begin work in September 2016.

You will be paid at least 6000 RMB a month although this may rise according to your qualifications and experience.

You will also be offered a free 3 bedroom apartment (subject to availability) or 1800rmb a month for housing.

In addition to this, you will be given 260 yuan a month to spend on food at the campus cafeteria or shops.

You will be expected to teach 16 periods a week, each period is 40 minutes. There are approximately 2 office hours a week. You will be given a textbook to follow although you will have a large degree of autonomy regarding what you choose to teach.

The university has a over 10,000 students, 500 of which are international giving the campus a cosmopolitan feel. The university even has its own Indian restaurant. Haikou itself also has various shops and restaurants which would make any expat feel at home.

Applicants should:

Be a native English speaker: UK, USA, AUS, NZ, CAN, IRE...
Have a bachelors degree or higher.
Have at least two years teaching experience.
Currently hold a z visa (or foreign expert certificate).
Have a TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certificate.
Be able to begin work in Haikou in September 2016.

Experience teaching at a university in China is preferred but not essential.

We would prefer candidates who are tired of Mainland China's pollution and would like a stable job in a clean, beautiful, tropical city by the sea.
