Position Available: Academic Principal of the international high school section

Location: SSE's partner schools in China, Chengdu, China

1）Qualifications
 Master's degree or above; original copy of diploma should be provided
 At least five years teaching experience and three years education management experience
 Broad knowledge and understanding of US education system
 Proven leadership skills, including the ability to develop, communicate and execute a strategic vision
 Demonstrated instructional leadership skills and knowledge of how to motivate, develop and evaluate staff
 Effectively develop and implement curriculum, the effective use of technology in the classroom, and lead the faculty and staff to provide students with an effective learning environment
 No criminal record
 Familiar with Chinese culture preferred
 Overseas study and live experience preferred

2）Responsibilities
 Achieve teaching objectives and student’s management
 Make teaching proposal for different subject teaching
 Responsible for subject teaching faculty allocation for different programs. Involve in new hire and training
 Monitor and coach the subject teachers’ daily and weekly teaching plan
 Approve selected teaching material by subject teacher, approve collected teaching material for all subject and manage it effectively
 Timely monitor the subject teaching quality to ensure teaching quality improvement
 Ensures that every student makes academic progress, achieves established yearly goals and provides a safe and nurturing school environment
 Ensures students have the most appropriate and effective Individual Education Plans to achieve their optimal academic performance with 100% accuracy
