Victoria English House was founded in 2001. We are located in Tieling City, Liaoning Province. We started hiring foreign English teachers in 2002 so we have a lot of experience and are very comfortable working with foreign teachers. Welcome to our team!
Our school has grown over the years and now it has 3 branches and a kindergarten. This year we are looking to hire some full-time teachers.
A little about Tieling City: We’re located in northeastern China, which is a great place to learn Mandarin if you are interested in the language. It gets cold up here in winter but houses/apartments are well heated and we have our own culture to celebrate the winter season. We’re most famous for being the hometown of China’s most famous comedian, Zhao Ben Shan. He really put Tieling on the map by often mentioning Tieling, “the big city” in his comedy skits. You can see his comedy skits on some of the biggest TV broadcasts of the year, including the Chinese New Year gala! The reality is that Tieling is not that big and it’s not that small. Tieling is quite clean and in many ways, a beautiful city. We have a population of 3 million, and have 3 districts and 6 counties. We also have large supermarkets and some western food chains (such as KFC and Pizza Hut). Furthermore, we’re just a short bus ride away from Liaoning’s capital, Shenyang City. If you like hiking we have a nice place called ‘Dragon Head Mountain’ right in the center of town. Long story short, there’s plenty to do and many ways to have a great time in Tieling. Job Details:
Location: Tieling City (close to Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, China)
Salary: 10,000 - 13,000 rmb per month, depending on experience and qualifications
Start date: 2016, 2017
Students: Kindergarten to High school students
Work schedule: 25 hrs per week and 2 days off per week, Minimum one-year contract
Accommodation: Free apartment (furnished with daily necessities)
Benefits: Paid holidays same as Chinese teachers, Medical insurance, Airport pick-up, Airfare repaid upon completion of contract, Z visa (working visa)
Other activities: Attend English corner (held in the biggest bookstore once a week and it will last one hour), Pre-lessons preparations with Chinese teachers (once a week and it will last one hour). Free lesson to public (before starting new classes), travelling organized by the school
