ESL Jobs in China
We are looking for passionate educators/teachers to change lives across our 10-month Dongcheng schools programme. We are a young, dynamic team of educators from the UK, US, Australia, Canada and China helping students to pursue their interests, progress academically and collaborate on creative projects and enriching activities outside of their traditional schooling. Running across thirty schools within the Dongcheng area, this is an exciting new Sino-British project providing workshops to middle-and high-school students aimed at developing their 21st Century skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity. The workshops have already been produced and training will be provided; the candidate will be responsible for adapting the workshops to students’ needs, delivering and assessing them and producing constructive feedback.
Am I right for this role?
The person we are looking for is not only passionate about making a real difference, but is also an experienced and qualified teacher with 2 years’ experience under their belt. You must be a magnetic presence in the classroom and strive for student engagement. You seek rewarding challenges and seize opportunities for personal and professional development, and are ready to work proactively with the Chinese public school administration. Being punctual and organized, you must be able to commit through to the end of the project in June 2017.
