Teach High School English at an International Korean School in Wuxi, China. Three Months Paid Vacation! 15,300+ RMB/month

We are looking to fill one opening for an English teacher in our secondary school program. Join a professional team of 6 Western and 7 Korean English teachers at our school to teach secondary school ESL (7th-11th grade). Your classes will typically contain 10 - 20 students of similar level, as our classes are split into 2-3 groups by level.

Our school was founded in 2006 and serves Korean students, from Kindergarten to 12th grade, from Wuxi and Suzhou, who are looking to maintain their high level of academic excellence in English while living away from Korea. We have about 550 students from K - 12 and pride ourselves on having great facilities and a beautiful campus.

Wuxi is an ancient Chinese city; it has the livability that can only be found in a smaller Chinese metropolis of 7 to 8 million people. Located an hour west of Shanghai and nestled alongside lake Taihu, you will enjoy all the conveniences of modern living in its New District, combined with the old-world charm of its ancient temple area.

1. Positions
One position as a secondary ESL teacher for grades 7-11

2. Terms of Contract
Duration: One year, starting August 22, 2016
Work Hours: (Monday -- Friday) 8:30 -- 4:30
Teaching Hours: Maximum 22 classes per week (45-minute classes)
Visa: Working (Z) visa is provided

3. Remuneration
1) Monthly Salary: 11,800 base + 500 research allowance + 3,000 housing allowance = 15,300 RMB/month
2a) Teaching License: Extra 700 RMB/month
2b) TESOL Cert: Extra 200 RMB/month
2c) Experience Bonus: 130 RMB/year completed at our school
3) Holidays: Fully paid 5 of weeks summer vacation and 7 weeks of winter vacation
4) Completion Bonus: One month employment bonus upon the completion of each contract
5) Evaluation Bonus: 90%-110% of salary, once a year
6) Reimbursement for location expenses (airfare + 2,000 RMB)
7) Plane ticket to home country upon completion of service at our school

4. Required Qualifications
* Native speaker from an English-speaking country (US, UK, CAN, NZ, AUS, SA)
* Bachelor's Degree
* 2 or more years of full-time teaching experience
* A professional teacher with a strong desire to help students develop
* 25-50 years old (with lots of energy)

5. Preferred Qualifications
* TEFL/TESOL certification or a teaching license in your home country
* Already in China or already have background check and other documents prepared
