Salary Offered:
- Basic Salary : 10,800 RMB per year (9,000RMB per month)
- Housing allowance : 36,000 RMB per year (3,000RMB )
- Bonus – the completion of one year contract : 9,000RMB
- Experience and qualification bonuses, extra class pay and overtime pay will be assessed by the established school scale,
- Yearly incentive bonus for hardwork offered by the school.

Position Desciption:
Starting Date : August 19, 2016
Teaching: Elementary 1st grade - 6th grade.
Working Days: Monday-Friday
Teaching Hours: 20 teaching hours a week, one teaching hour 40 minutes
Working Hours: 8:10 a.m. - 4:40 p.m.
Term of Contract: One year probationary contract, with possibility of renewal.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
 Plan prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
 Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development
 Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school
 Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities and extra English activities
 Participate in department and parent meetings
 Co- coordinating with fellow teachers, assistants and other professionals
 Willingness to participate in afternoon classes (held within school hours, three times a week with additional pay to teachers.)

Education and Experience
Essential:
 Bachelor degree
 Native English speaker

Preferred:
Education degree
Teaching license
Certification in Subject Areas
Minimum 2 years teaching English
Teaching experience at elementary school level

Description of position:
Yantai Korean School has a modified English immersion program in the elementary school.
Students take part in the English program from 1st grade to 6th grade and are put in classes based on English abilities. Classes are generally small with under 20 students per class, with similar English levels. The native English teacher is given a set of books for the class to teach and focuses mainly on speaking and listening skill based areas.

School Background
Yantai Korean School has been an established school since 2001 and is authorized by both the Korean and Chinese governments. There are roughly 700 students raging from 1st grade to 12th grade with around 100 staff members within the school. The school provides its teachers with lunch and transportation to and from the school.
