Our school in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province- English Connection Foreign Language School has been open for six years and we have over 400 students now. We have classes for ages from three years up to adults and teach many different courses such as Gogo Loves English, Let's Go, up to IELTS and TOEFL. Our class sizes are a maximum of 12 students for 3-6 year olds and 18 for above that. Generally, classes are mainly on the weekends from 8am-7pm, but there are also evening classes on weekdays. Number of hours varies as we have busier (intensive) periods during summer and winter, when public schools close and we have more hours. We also work in academic hours (ACH) which are 50 minutes not 60 due to our classes finishing that way. Contracted hours would be 110 ACH for normal time and for 130ACH intensive time per month.

We are looking for a replacement for one of our foreign teachers who is retiring, after working for us for five years. We offer 8000-9000 (non-native)9000-10000RMB (native)per month with free accommodation, flight reimbursement and visa/medical fees. We require that the candidate can complete at least a one year contract. We also require an native English speaker of one of the following nationalities - American, Canadian, British, Australian, others would be considered although we are limited to what the local goverment will allow us to process, but we still need to check for how strong an accent you may have. You will also need a TEFL/TESOL certificate and a bachelor's degree. We can begin the application process immediately if the applicant is suitable for the position.
