The School
EF Baotou is a franchise school of EF China Kids & Teens located in the Inner Mongolia province of China, our school investor Gloria Li has another school in Hohhot, which is the capital city of Inner Mongolia, as well as having interests in Qinhuangdao on the coast, where the Great Wall goes into the sea in Hebei province. Gloria has extensive experience working within EF, having started off as a center manager in Qinhuangdao before becoming an investor of her own school, first opening EF Hohhot, followed by EF Baotou. EF Baotou first opened it’s doors in 2009 when we were located in Baobai, in the Kundu area, and we moved to our current location in Wanda Plaza, located in Qingshan, in the fall of 2013.

Currently we have a team of 6 international teachers, from the UK, USA, Ukraine and Spain, we also have a local staff number of about 20, working in various departments from sales, teaching assistants, marketing and management. We have about 500 students, this has been a steady number for the past few years, but we are looking to grow our team as a result of expected growth in student numbers, and we already have a number of students waiting for new classes to open.

The Job
EF teachers are responsible for keeping their students records up to date by using EF’s own state of the art student record keeping system, which is synced with EF’s own parent APP. When you update a student’s record, their parent will receive an notification on the APP and can view what their child has done in class, what the homework will be as well as a host of other things.

Teacher assistants and teachers meet up regularly to discuss the progress of students, so that this information can be relayed on to parents. We also have Parent Teacher Meetings, where we meet with parents to discuss how their child is doing during the course. On top of this, we also have open lessons, where the parents can come and watch the class, this allows for the peace of mind of parents who spend a huge outlay to send their child to EF.

Teachers who work for EF China Kids & Teens sign a contract with standard job descriptions. Teachers will teach a maximum of 20 hours from the months of March to May and September to December, during the other months this rises to a maximum of 26 teaching hours. This is because of the summer and winter courses we offer for students to improve in areas they may be having difficulties with. These courses range from focusing on academic qualities to transferable skills.

Teaching with EF China kids & teens - teach students from the age of 3 - 18 using all of EF's own courses and materials, which are aligned with CEFR from age 7+.
Class sizes range from 12 -18 (maximum).

Requirements:
Must be 24 years or older.
Must hold a BA degree. (needs to be authenticated/notarized)
Must have at minimum 120 hour TEFL (Can be received though our Shanghai office)
No teaching experience required.

The package is as follows:
No experience 7,000 RMB monthly (Net) - 10,000 RMB (GROSS)
1 year experience 8,000 RMB monthly (Net) - 11,000 RMB (GROSS)
2+ years experience 9,000 RMB monthly (Net) – 12,000 RMB (GROSS)

12 month contract
9,000 RMB flight allowance paid after 6th and 12th month
Worldwide medical & dental insurance (excl the USA) provided by school
Shared accommodation (2nd year contract can have their own apartment)
Contract extension bonus 3,000 RMB

18 month contract
13,500 RMB flight allowance paid after 6th, 12th and 18th month
2,000 RMB loyalty bonus paid at end of contract
Shared accommodation (2nd year contract can have their own apartment)
Contract extension bonus 3,000 RMB

Both contracts:
10 annual paid vacation days with 11+ Chinese vacation days
