English Teacher (Full-time)

THE OPPORTUNITY

UNEN English School for Kids & Teens is currently seeking English teachers to join our academic team in Shunde, an amazing city near Guangzhou and HongKong.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an English teacher for UNEN English Schools for Kids & Teens,you will be teaching English to children ages 3-18. Classes for children ages 3-6 years are taught with a local teaching assistant and have 8 students or less while classes for children ages 7-18 have 16 students or less. Key activities include planning and delivering lessons using UNEN’s teaching materials, evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and parents. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

* Planning and delivering lessons to children ages 3-18 in groups up to 16 students

* Using electronic media and making coursewares to teach English efficiently and effectively

* Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents

* Assigning and evaluating out of class exercises

* Participating in social activities with students organized by the school to encourage oral English proficiency

* Participating in the promotion of enrollment and marketing when required

* Summarizing English teaching techniques and organizing English demonstration class

* Working for the branches for UNEN and preparing to work at night and weekends

QUALIFICATIONS

* A Bachelor’s Degree

* A TEFL/TESOL Certification (First priority if available)

* The ability to obtain a clear background check

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role, applicants must be citizens from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa to meet China’s visa regulations.

EMPLOYMENT PACKAGE

* 10,000 - 15,000 RMB monthly (40 working hours per week), based on qualifications

* A returned flight allowance to home country when fully accomplishing a one-year contract and renew the contract again for the next year

* Offer help to obtain a legal Z work visa

* Insurance of accidents and hospitalization

* 11 paid Chinese public holidays during the contract period

* Airport pick-up upon arrival or transportation allowance
