2 English Teachers needed for a University in Xuzhou

The University is ranked within the top 60 in China.

The starting date of the positions will be 1st September 2017

Job Description:
- 16- 20 hours teaching per week
- To deliver English lessons and lectures to the students of the University.
- To prepare lesson plans
- To correct written assignments
- Contribute to the environment of English learning within the University
- Teachers may also be asked to take part in activities such as English corner
- The University often has a variety of English contests such as speech competitions, writing and music. Some teachers may be asked to help judge them.

- Long Holidays: no teaching on Chinese national holidays as well as winter and summer vacation.
- The University gives free Mandarin lessons to the international students and has explained that all English teachers are welcome to join any of these lessons for free.

Payment scale:
7000 RMB for bachelor degree holders
8000 RMB for MA holder
9000 RMB for PhD holder
(Salary listed is the amount after tax)

The University has told us that this salary is fixed but for anyone who demonstrates high teaching ability and gets a good evaluation result at the end of semester, can get a pay increase for the next semester.

Requirements:

1) Native English speaker
2) BA degree or higher in any subject
3) 2 years or more teaching experience
4) Age 20 - 50

Interview process:
Interview will be conducted via Skype. However, as sometimes Skype has connectivity issues it is also best to have WeChat installed on your phone as a backup.
