Jinhua Polytechnic is partnering with Kaplan University in a joint academic program. We are seeking two (2) Finance/Accounting instructors for a unique teaching experience in the People’s Republic of China beginning in late August, 2015. Jinhua is a friendly city of 4 million people located in eastern China, approximately 3 hours train ride from Shanghai.

Jinhua Polytechnic is currently a national model of higher vocational college in China. It has been making great efforts to expand cooperation and communication with overseas organizations. It has established long term cooperative relationships with more than ten universities and educational institutions all over the world.

Job Description

Qualified instructors are expected to improve the Accounting proficiency of first and second year college students. These students will then seek admission to Kaplan University at Hagerstown for completion of a bachelor of science in Business/Accounting.

Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business/Accounting/Finance)
• With 2 years of teaching experience and subject matter expertise in Management, Corporate Finance, U.S. Accounting and Taxation, Economics, Internal Controls and Auditing, Public Relations and Applied Financial Excel.
• Must hold a U.S. Citizen.
• A native speakers of English
• Candidates must have a completed criminal background check at time of application.

Remuneration Package

• Monthly salary of RMB 16,250 (Approximately USD $2,500)
• Optional 1-year renewable contract
• Paid sick leave
