Who Are We?
The Northwest University for Nationalities (NWUN) is a leading university in the city of Lanzhou. NWUN’s student body is made up of 29,000 young people from every one of China’s 56 ethnic groups including the Tibetan, Uyghur, Hui, Mongol people and come from all over China. Many of these students are the first generation within their communities to have access to tertiary education and much of their study and research helps identify and preserve some of the distinctive characteristics of their rich cultural heritage. Get a map of China and you’ll find the city of Lanzhou in the geographical centre of the country along the old Silk Road. Our city is famous for Lanzhou la mian, it’s long history and it’s diverse culture.

Who Are We Looking for?
We have openings for Economics/Business Instructors for our China-USA Joint education program. You will have at least a master’s degree in economics/business with several years of teaching experience.

We are also looking for English Teachers to help help undergraduate and graduate students develop their communications skills in English: including speaking and listening. The ideal person will have a passion for teaching and a love for helping students. You should have an undergraduate degree, a teaching certificate (CELTA/TESL/TEFL) and at least two years of teaching experience.

What We Have to Offer:
Our compensation package includes a base salary of 5,200 to 6,000 RMB per month, a furnished apartment, and a return flight from your home country to Lanzhou. Flexible start date.
